Tsio Hai Waldorf High School Vision

Adolescence is a journey marked by unique hardship and unique grace—a time when every young person stumbles forward through the dark, wrestling with self-doubt while dreaming of the future.

The only force capable of guiding us through this obscurity is the capacity to feel the suffering of others, which ignites an inner passion to pursue our highest ideals.

To cultivate this resilient strength, students undertake dedicated milestones in each grade level, progressively building the capacity to know themselves, understand society, and transform the world:

  • 9th Grade — Farm Practicum: Beyond mastering advanced agricultural techniques, students reconnect with the mysteries of life, reflecting deeply on humanity’s responsibilities and duties to the environment.
  • 10th Grade — Community & Social Service: Working alongside people from diverse backgrounds, life experiences, and cultures, students learn how to contribute their own strength while practicing genuine empathy.
  • 11th Grade — Workplace Internship: Joining passionate and vision-driven teams, students experience the gap between ideals and reality firsthand, learning how to navigate and balance the two.
  • 12th Grade — Senior Independent Project: Carrying the momentum of the past three years—bound together by reverence for life, empathy for others, and care for society—students select a topic they are deeply passionate about for a year-long capstone project. Equipping themselves with this ultimate gift, they graduate with courage to pursue their dreams and step into their true calling.

We warmly welcome all who hold questions about life and refuse to settle for single answers to walk this journey with us.
